I have a family that loves and cares for me dearly and I enjoy spending every moment with them.
I have friends who accept me for who I am and enjoys my company.
They were all there when I was in my strongest and weakest moments. They kept me on my feet.
I have a life that gives me numerous blessings from up above and from my hard work. I am blessed that I have everything that I need in order to secure my future. Everything that I have right now, I am extremely thankful and I appreciate them all.
Honestly, as the years go by, the spirit of Christmas dies down because of all the things that are happening...It's happening too fast, as well. People nowadays think of Christmas as the time of "giving expensive gifts to show that they care" or something like that. Something materialistic...but really, it's not. It's something one cannot really grasp physically...It's something that's more on being felt.
Really, are those expensive gifts really worth it when it comes to showing your love and care for a person? I don't think so. I think there are things FAR RICHER to give to show your love (like YOU ACTUALLY BEING THERE or hugs and memories with them). Gifts may be plus points but, really, I don't think Christmas is about those materialistic gifts.
Keep things simple. Christmas is about SPENDING TIME with your LOVED ONES. It's the time to APPRECIATE all the things you have received this year and perhaps the years before that. It's about seeing and realizing every little good thing that has happened to you (heck, include the bad ones too XD). It's all about thanking everyone who's been so kind to you. It's also about the celebration of the birth of our Lord.
Christmas should be kept simple. Its meaning should be preserved. Don't let it get trampled by such fancy gifts and elaborate decorations because really, what can riches and money do compared to LOVE and CARE from people? LOVE and CARE are irreplaceable.
YOUR LOVED ONES ARE IRREPLACEABLE. No money or riches or fancy decors can ever replace them so, treasure them well.
Spend some time with them and feel the TRUE essence of Christmas.
Thank them...LOVE THEM.
Thank you, everyone for everything you did for me. ♥ I'm glad I met you all.
Happy Holidays, everyone!
Enjoy it!
